just go to your Layout, then click edit HTML option, then check the box for "Expand Widget Templates"
and search for

you can do this easily just try ctrl+f and search the tag.
If you search it change the tag "div" into "span" so that it will look like this

after that look for this tag in lower part

/div>!-- subscribe --
change the second /div>
into /span> so the code will look like this

/span>!-- subscribe --
