The eponymous list of 'Au Courant Caribbean Classics'

Everyone knows what the generally accepted 'classics' are - The white tee, dark blue jeans, black dress, pearl sets, and such. Those are the style staples that most fashion focused people would have chucked away somewhere in their closet - Caribbean folks included. I think that along with those fave's, it's about time that we embrace a new set of Caribbean Classics. You know, original and fierce island inspired items/clothing pieces that not only define our style as uniquely exotic, but also takes us from the islands to any international port with absolute flair. Interchangeable and unique items that can be switched back and forth between being a standout piece and a complimentary one. The fact is, pearls will always be glamorous, but fine Amber jewellery from the Dominican Republic is as just as classy. And so are the strappy heels for clubbing at night, sunny dresses for island days and updated straw hats & flip flops. The new Caribbean Classics are damn hot, so lets go check them out!

Stay stylish.
