Much thanks to "Anon.' for giving me the heads up on the 5'11" model-on-the-rise, Ms. Michelene Auguste! The more I think of this lithe chic, the more I understand exactly why I'm loving her look.
Michelene IS a model, and not one of the many, many young fashion hopefuls who believe with all their hearts that they are a cat-walker, when in truth and in fact, they're not.
Granted, she's just at the start of an international modeling career with IMG models - yup, right up there with agency mates Mossy, Stam, Gisele, Liya Kebede, the two Lily's, and the rest of the all-star roster - and granted, she's only done one season (February's showing of Fall 09,) walking with Karen Walker, Diesel Gold, Dianne von Furstenberg, and a few other designers, but I think she's got a great career ahead of her.
Such a high, high-fash. look - I sense that some fancy-pants editorials might come your way pretty soon, Michelene!
