Summer-ready Tees by Mario Lewis

Isn't that just the most punchiest, vibrant, summer-ready Tee you've ever seen? Debuting the collection of cotton, illustrated tops at this year's Fashion Week T&T, Mario Lewis took his painterly talents as an Artist, and successfully applied them to these Tees, thus marking his foray as a street/sportswear designer,

But as much as I love the Tees and want - so badly - to spread the word on the collection, there's only so much and no more that I can tell you. And why? Because, as usual with some of the Caribbean designers, there's next to no info out there about the actual collection!

I only know that the Tees are designed by Lewis because I'm familiar with his style, and because I saw some of his creations when I briefly worked with him eons ago at the Queens Hall/Noble Douglas Theatre Camp, where he was the Art instructor and I was a head counselor. And also, because he walked the runway at the end of his show.

As for the name of the line, the price points, where to get them, etc, I can't tell you a thing. I can't even point you to a rundown website or old blog that has info! So unless you're pals with the Artist, I wish you luck in finding the tops, and getting your hands on one of these tees.

When, oh when, will they learn?

POSTCo...

To Terry Smith & Davie boy - Smart move! This is a sort of spooky-cool way to do a guerilla mass-advertising campaign for a Tee Shirt line. Check out the clip above for info and a teaser on POSTCo - aka Port of Spain Tee Shirt Company - and their upcoming 'fashion store' event.
