We Dream in Colour - New Piece

I am a huge fan of We Dream in Colour,Jewelry Maker/Artist Jade Gedeon's line of irreverent, yet eternally stylish pieces.

Drawing from her environment and multicultural Trinidadian/International upbringing, Jade's line includes pieces like the 'Soucouyant necklace', 'Batimamzelle earrings', and 'White Ibis pin' - the Soucouyant being a folkloric creature of the night reminiscent of the Vampire, the Batimamzelle being 'Trini speak' for the Dragonfly, and the Ibis being our national bird.

Today, I'm featuring one of my favourite pieces from her new set: the Vintage Moth necklace pictured above, takes a sometimes pesky winged insect and makes it an ethereally charming creature that's slightly burnished and cast in pure brass.
