Better Late - Heather Jones Receives T&T Award

I definitely snoozed on this one! For days now, I've been meaning to acknowledge the fact that Heather Jones, the Trinidadian fashion designer, has received the Chaconia (Gold) Medal at the 2009 Independence Day National Awards in T&T.

So before days turns into weeks, I'm sending a hearty "Congratulations" to the designer, on behalf of myself and all the Au Courant readers!

She's made some strange decisions recently - remember the $500.00 Heather Jones modeling competition entry fee - but in the past she's definitely proven to be a talented resort wear designer...

I'm looking forward to seeing what she does in the future, design-wise.
