Aren't Hummingbirds one of the most beautiful winged creatures out there? And don't they look extra-beautiful as whimsical, feathery earrings, too?

French designer Odelie Chan designs these delightful, mismatched adornments - totally BY HAND - and starting Oct/Nov 2009, they'll be available on Au Courant Boutique!

Two almost life-sized birds might have been a little overpowering in this particular design, but the one-sided thing just seems so rebellious, so 'don't-care-damn,' so chic.

If you've read the September issue of Au Courant Magazine, you'd have noticed a pic on the back cover that mentioned something about an Au Courant Boutique...

For those intrepid readers who've already sent me a flurry of emails for more information ("Are you selling Caribbean Designer stuff? Or hard-to-find accessories?") the designer goodness will be revealed in due course!

In the meantime, however, take a peek at our teaser: the first set of AuC items! I've worn the Tee around the way here in NY, and can't tell you how many times someone has stopped me to read the dictionary meaning of the french phrase 'Au Courant' that's on the front.

• Recycled paper, spiral bound notebooks:-Heavy grade paper, perfect for sketching, writing, or whatever else you'd want to do. Loving the black ribbon closure.
• Full Canvas tote:- Printed with the AuC icon, and sturdy enough to hoist each and every one of those magazines you're lugging around.
• Cotton slim fit tee:- Printed with the Dictionary definition of Au Courant. Runs true to size (sm/m/l) Caution: guys may use this as an excuse to ogle your boobs as they 'read' the text!
