Raw Blooms - Spring/Summer 09

I've been hinting for awhile about revealing my capsule, hand-crafted accessories collection, and I'm so glad to say that "It's Finally Here!"

'Raw Blooms' is about the growth, decay, and regrowth of the tropical flowers I love, namely the Bougainvilleas and Double Hibiscus. The only way I saw fit to illustrate the influence of those blooms & the decomposition process on my collection, was by deciding to use responsible and re-purposed materials and practices in the production process.

So thus, I carefully hand-crafted each piece you see above, in the tradition of the designers who can both conceptualize and create a design. The handbag & jewelry pieces were constructed out of re-purposed blue jean Denim, responsibly-reared and treated Lambskin Leather, natural Jute braids & cord, 100% natural Canvas, and natural Cotton.

And as of today, they're all available online! Each design is unique in it's own, little way, and as you browse through the site, you'll see a few Limited Edition designs to tickle your fancy. Enjoy!
