Well? What do you think of the two designs revealed at the media launch of Spice Carnival's 2010 Trinidad Carnival presentation, The Spice Route?
I dunno about you, but I'm not impressed.
I see "Mardi Gras", "Tribe's Birds of a Feather", and "Brazil Carnival" when I look at these costumes. I even took a second look, squinted my eyes really hard, and focused, but still, nothing on these designs said "The Spice Route" to me.
Maybe they are saving the 'Wow' costumes for the actual band launch on July 19th? I shall wait & see...

They put a sparkle in my eye. I am loving Rubies of Mumbai. Why is it that people are turning their noses up at the designs?
I get you. The costumes - devoid of the theme 'The Spice Route' - are really nice. But thinking about all the different places and elements of the real Spice Route, I feel as if there was so much more that could be done. These costumes look like Mas' that I've seen over and over in years one by... Maybe the rest are really hot!
