Mingi... In Trinidadian parlance, if you'd swap the "i" for a "y" you'll be talking about a grizzly old dog! But in this case, we're thankfully referring to something that's much more pleasant to visualize.
Catherine Mingi Kim is a Los Angeles artist who's currently residing in Trinidad, and has brought her unique Mingi jewelry pieces with her.
Creating one-of-a-kind pieces by special order, Mingi (which is Catherine's Korean name & the name of the collection, by the way) has taken her formal Arts training and longtime love of jewelry, and turned it into a simple line of semiprecious, silver adornments.
