January 20th, 2009 - what a fantastic day, filled with hope and promise! As I sit here catching some glimpses of the inauguration of the next President of the United States, Barack Obama, I can't help but think back to the inauguration of George W. Bush two terms ago.
It was rainy and bleak, and newscasters were saying that hadn't been so glum on the day a President was sworn in, in eons! A bad omen, maybe?! Today, the skies are clear and blue, the sun shines brightly and the whole world seems to rallying together to send some good vibes to the incumbent President.
What other incoming U.S. President has managed to rouse the spirits and hopes of people from all walks of life - international politicians, musicians, regular townspeople, and top designers alike? This is not a day to feel bashful in standing up for a cause.
